Used Hardcovers are Cheaper than Paperbacks

The Commanding Heights: The Battle Between Government and the Marketplace That Is Remaking the Modern World

Hardcover starts at $ 0.01
Paperbacks starts at $ 5.55

The reasons why used hardcovers are 'generally cheaper' seems a good question for the 'economic naturalist'- I prefer the term 'Tell Me Why Economics'.

Readers are encouraged to explore their inner economic naturalist on the new series we intend to start on the blog- Tell Me Why Economics.

one hardcover i bought had the sign 'not for sale'- it was a review copy, but somebody decided to sell it. So if you get it for free, than you can sell it cheaply I guess.
